OVERVIEW: On-air radio or television work involving the routine announcing of programs, commercials, news, public service information, or other material from scripts.  Researches topics of interest to audiences, and selects and interviews appropriate guests.  Interacts with immediate supervisors and sales/marketing individuals who provide the information on products or services, and discusses style and length of copy.  Helps select announcement topics.
OVERVIEW: Supervises the preparation of all visual presentations by overseeing design of rough layout of art and copy, including arrangement, type style and size, and related aesthetic concepts.
OVERVIEW: Operates television, video, and motion picture cameras to photograph images and scenes for various purposes, such as TV broadcasts, advertising, video production, and motion pictures.
OVERVIEW: Coordinate the services of the classified advertising department, which includes hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating employees within that department.
OVERVIEW: Determines the specific audio and visual effects and music necessary to complete films. Edits films and videotapes to insert music, dialogue, and sound effects, to arrange films into sequences, and to correct errors, using editing equipment.  Manipulates plots, scores, sounds, and graphics to make the parts into a continuous whole.  Organizes and strings together raw footage into a continuous whole according to scripts and/or the instructions of directors and producers.
OVERVIEW: Designs art and copy layouts for such visual communications media as books, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, television, and packaging.
OVERVIEW: Photographs subjects or newsworthy events, using still cameras, color or black-and-white film, and a variety of photographic accessories.
OVERVIEW: Involves collecting and analyzing information about events, accomplishments, news, etc., to write articles for publication.  Limited creativity in original writing of copy; mainly reporting of facts.
OVERVIEW: Takes photographs and operates a hand-held videocamera to record events for the organization.
OVERVIEW: Works on a variety of projects primarily involved in website design and development, including creation of custom graphics.  Responsible for designing the user interface for company websites and applications, including overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages, and creation of individual graphic elements.
