He also manages the company’s webinar division and live conferences. Patrick’s more than 20-year career as a business journalist and thought leader includes stints as newspaper reporter, Washington speechwriter and White House press aide.

Elizabeth Hall is the online publisher at Business Management Daily. She oversees the publication of free resources, daily eNewsletters and websites. Elizabeth specializes in digital content curation and accessibility. She launched the BMD website in 2008, after spending two years as the managing editor of eight environmental and transportation newsletters.  

John Wilcox is the senior editor of eight HR Specialist newsletters covering HR, employment law and payroll, as well as theHRSpecialist.com. John has been covering the HR, training and business management beat from Washington for more than 20 years.


Cal Butera is the senior editor of Office Manager TodayManager’s Legal BulletinManaging People at Work and Communication Briefings. He has been with Business Management Daily since 2007 and worked 22 years for midsize daily newspapers as a sports writer, news reporter, layout and design editor, copy editor and city editor.

Michelle Peña is the senior editor of Office Technology Today and Small Business Tax Strategies. She also edits all of Business Management Daily’s newsletters. She joined BMD as a graphic designer in 2009 and transitioned to the editorial department in 2016. Prior to her work with BMD, Michelle ran a small publishing business for 15 years.
