Court: ‘Trump supporter’ isn’t a protected category

After a New York City bar tossed out a patron last year for wearing a red “Make America Great Again” cap, he sued claiming discrimination. The bar patron tried to argue that he had paid a “spiritual tribute” to the 9/11 memorial that day and the hat was part of his spiritual belief. The court said Fuggetaboutit, noting that religious and political beliefs are protected under federal and local discrimination laws, but “supporting Trump is not a religion.”
