OVERVIEW: Performs accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting functions according to established procedures or as directed by the Accounting manager.

OVERVIEW: Responsible for the execution of financial statements and reports and the supervision of the general Accounting function.

OVERVIEW: Coordinates all company accounting activities.  Prepares, analyzes, and interprets accounting records, financial reports, government reports, statistics, tax preparation, and data processing services related to accounting.

OVERVIEW: Pays invoices by obtaining payment authorization, scheduling and preparing disbursements, and verifying transaction documentation.  Collects revenue by notifying customers of insufficient payments and handles delinquent accounts.

OVERVIEW: Organizes basic financial/accounting activities, including financial statements, cash flow, and tracking of all accounts.

OVERVIEW: Performs audits of the company's financial and MIS systems, as well as other operating systems, to ensure that appropriate control measures are in place and that corporate control requirements are fulfilled.

OVERVIEW: Maintains records using established bookkeeping practices, procedures, and precedents.  Prepares routine financial statements and reports.

OVERVIEW: Determines cost of operations by collecting, analyzing, and reporting cost data.  Classifies labor, material, and overhead costs to compute unit costs of products and services, and records cost data for use by management in controlling expenditures.

OVERVIEW: This position develops cost estimates for parts, sub-assemblies, and finished devices; generates and maintains reports for variances, performances against standards, etc.; and prepares cost analyses by recapitulating material cost, labor cost, and overhead cost incurred in the fabrication or assembly of part(s).

OVERVIEW: Ensures that policies and procedures are being followed consistently in order to safeguard the company's assets, verify the accuracy and reliability of its accounting data, and promote adherence to prescribed policies.  Evaluates both administrative and accounting controls and prepares reports for the CEO on compliance with company standards and on problems that require strengthening of internal controls to ensure the highest ethical standards are fulfilled.
