Bigger means better or, at least, more productive. A recent study at the University of Utah found larger computer monitors can make you more productive: People in the study using a 24-inch monitor completed tasks (like editing a document or copying numbers between spreadsheets) 52% faster than those using an 18-inch monitor.

Since much of what you know about management is learned, why not learn from the best? Pick out those tactics from some of the supervisors in your organization who seem to do their jobs with flair (and success) and emulate them. Even small adjustments to your style can make a big difference not only in how you look, but how you feel as you go about doing your job.
