Lawsuits filed against Queens principal cost city $600,000
A school principal accused of sexual harassment has been reassigned from Flushing’s John Bowne High School “to a central office where he will be closely supervised and will no longer be permitted to manage other employees.”
New York City’s new schools chancellor made the decision after realizing the city had paid $605,000 since 2013 to settle four lawsuits accusing Howard Kwait of rubbing his body against female administrators and proposing to perform oral sex on them if they helped achieve better school performance results.
