Cabinet departments propose new paths to apprenticeships
A joint task force led by the U.S. Departments of Commerce, Education and Labor have issued a set of 26 policy recommendations designed to make apprenticeship programs more accessible and more effective.
The final report of the Task Force on Apprenticeship Expansion, released May 10, proposes a five-year plan to create “a pathway to new, industry-recognized apprenticeships,” according to Labor Secretary Alex Acosta.
