Union funding to organize fast-food employees was cut in half last year, according to a new study by the conservative Center for Union Facts. The group said the Service Employees International Union spent just $10.8 million on its “Fight for $15” campaign in 2017, compared to $19 million the year before. The campaign aims to raise minimum wages for service workers to at least $15 per hour.
