You’ve skimmed your résumé to freshen up on your professional accomplishments, check.

You’ve boned up on the potential new employer and the job description, check.

You’ve got a few questions ready, check.  

You’ve read all the best books on interviewing, check.

Ready to go!

Well, not so fast.

Being successful in an interview means standing out. That’s the real task. Fielding and satisfying interview questions and then posing a few of your own is the minimum requirement, but it’s not enough to make you stand out.
