Retirement benefits get Senate boost

Senate legislation introduced March 8 would help employees save more for retirement and encourage employers to offer retirement benefits. The Retirement Enhancement and Savings Act would let employers claim a tax credit for auto-enrolling employees in 401(k) or similar plans and raise the cap on employee contributions.
