The 10,000 employees of Costco Wholesale, the discount warehouse retailer, enjoy the nation’s most generous pay and benefits, according to a survey by Indeed.com. With starting pay of $27,906 for cashiers, full-time employees are eligible for health, dental and vision insurance, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a 50% employer match on the first $1,000.
