If your energy and motivation dip after lunch, incorporate these steps into your afternoon routine:

Move your body. An afternoon workout or a short walk around the block or office can help snap you out of any post-lunch sluggishness.

Keep an “easy” list. Save your mundane, simple tasks for later in the day.

Schedule five minutes to work on a big, ongoing project. Do what you can in five minutes. If you can’t stay focused, move on to the easy list.

Spend 30 minutes planning tomorrow. Prioritize your day to get the important things done when you’re most alert and focused.
