There comes a point when you need to stop thinking about pros and cons, upsides and downsides, and just start rolling the dice. Making good things happen begins with making anything happen. Try these assertive strategies:

Get out of bed every morning, even when you don’t want to. Forcing yourself to get up, into the shower and out the door is the first step every day.

Make that phone call you know you need to make. There’s probably at least one phone call you need to make that you’ve been putting off. Just do it.

Accept failure. The more you’ve failed means the more you’ve tried; on the flip side, the more you try, the more you’ll succeed.

Too much planning and organizing is a way to procrastinate. Planning too much won’t change the task you have to do. Be prepared, but don’t use it as a way to delay action.
