Make every minute at work count. Here are five quick and easy tasks you can complete when you only have five minutes to spare:

Clean your digital files. Pick one file to go through and organize. Delete old drafts you no longer need, rename files for easy sorting, create sub files and so on.

Update your contact list. Chances are you have outdated or insufficient information for key contacts. Take a few minutes to update that information.

Digitize notes. If you have scraps of paper with important notes on them littering your desk, type them and transform that information to digital files. Also, create contacts to input phone numbers and email addresses you’ve jotted down.

Update your to-do list. Eliminate or add items as needed, reprioritize your list and add due dates to tasks.

Get your blood flowing. Do a four-minute miniworkout. Tabata training, for example, requires you to work hard for eight 20-second intervals of exercise—jumping jacks, push-ups, squats—followed by 10-second rests.
