Pinterest is more than just a place to pin DIY projects and recipes. It can be used to help you advance your career.

Check out these ideas:

Show off your work. Pin pages of your work to create a visual portfolio. Examples: writers could pin articles, chefs could pin images of their food and graphic designers could pin web pages that include their designs.

Build a learning library. As you come across articles online, pin them to create a source of advice right at your fingertips. For example, pin articles on landing a promotion, dealing with issues at work and must-have industry news.

Monitor other companies. Follow your competitors or companies you admire to see what they’re up to and to gain ideas on how to improve your own work, team or organization as a whole.
