It’s time to use Snapchat

With 100 million daily users, Snap­­chat is one of the fastest-growing social media networks. It is a power­­ful way to connect with customers, especially the coveted 18- to 34-year-old demographic.

Here are four ways you can use Snapchat to market your products, connect with customers and build your brand awareness:

  • Deliver exclusive content. If you want to make followers feel really special, offer them content they can’t get elsewhere. For example, provide them with a sneak peek of a product before you launch it, a behind-the-scenes look at an event you are hosting, or a shout out from your CEO. That kind of content engages current fans, and it encourages them to share your Snapchat stories with others.
  • Share videos of live events. Snippets from trade shows, prod­­uct launches and industry or workplace events offer followers a different live perspective. They don’t feel like they are missing any action, and they’ll likely stay tuned in throughout the event.  
  • Offer insight into your organization. Capture company celebrations, birthday parties, corporate outings and more to give followers a taste of what it is like to work at your organization. That is great way to gain and engage followers, and it is an excellent recruitment tool.
  • Promote contests and special offers. Offer freebies to customers who snap while holding your product or using your service. Or offer promo codes or coupons to fans who watch your entire Snapchat story.
