Just need some space? These shortcuts get you the space you need without traipsing through dialog boxes or ribbons.

Quickly take a paragraph from any type of multiple line spacing down to single spacing with the Ctrl+1 shortcut. Great for proofreading!

Make a document easier to read (and proofread) by double-spacing. Select all the text in your document with Ctrl+A, then use the Ctrl+2 shortcut to double-space your paragraphs.

Try using 1.5 line spacing by selecting Ctrl+5. This compromise makes documents easier to review and edit. It’s a cinch to get back to single spacing with Ctrl+1, or use Ctrl+Space to return to the default spacing in the template style.
