Enjoy conferences without attending

Sometimes, you can’t make it to every conference in your industry, but that’s OK; you can still stay involved. Make the most out of the conferences you can’t attend:

•  Engage before the conference starts. Talk to people before the conference begins and make connections. Don’t be afraid to keep those connections after the conference ends, and use them to continue networking.

•  Use hashtags. If your conference has a hashtag, use it on all of your social media accounts. It will help you stay updated on the conversations throughout the event and help you connect with people.

•  Voice your opinion. Don’t just re-post things, voice your own thoughts as well.

•  Utilize live streams. You can watch everything as it’s happening and chime in via social media.
