Does the long workday make you feel like productivity is impossible? Recent research out of Australia shows that short breaks—as quick as 40 seconds—are enough to refresh your brain. But what should you do with those 40 seconds?

Looking at images of green landscapes can help you concentrate and perform better. As a testament to the effect of this study, Facebook is installing a nine-acre green roof at its headquarters to benefit the environment and its employees.

Stay productive by viewing nature. Office art, layout, potted plants and windows are important considerations when planning a productive space.
