Manage your staff more effectively with these tips.
- Loosen the reins. Don’t micromanage. Create a plan with goals and deadlines. Check in regularly, but don’t overdo it. Show some faith in your employees.
- Avoid secrecy. Be as transparent as you can with employees. Secrecy undermines trust and creates barriers.
- Treat everyone equally. Don’t let relationships change how you treat certain employees. Not playing favorites allows employees to feel that they each have an equal shot at promotions and recognition.
