Address an irritating behavior

With varied personalities within a company, someone’s behavior is likely to irritate you. If you reach a point where you can no longer be tolerant, address it respectfully.

Instead of being hostile, assume that your coworker is unaware. Act as if you are trying to help the person by making him or her aware of the issue. Open a discussion and show how the behavior affects you. You may find that something you are doing was contributing as well, and be able to adjust.
