Ready to deliver your next presentation without notes? You will be able to focus on your audience instead of on a script after this preparation:
- Outline your speech on one sheet of paper. Carry that with you to review when you have time in the days before your presentation.
- Rehearse your full speech the day before you will deliver it. Practice the entire presentation in front of a mirror the same day you will present in front of your audience.
- Review your outline during the hour before you speak.
Tip: Write key words using a bold black marker on few sheets of 11-by-17 white paper. Tape the papers to the floor of the stage before the audience enters. During the speech you will be able to glance down for a quick reminder without anyone noticing.
