Wells Fargo has an international volunteer program that lends employees’ professional expertise to nonprofits in up to 30 countries.

The financial services company has partnered with Bankers Without Borders to allow employees involved with its “Global Fellows” program to volunteer with poverty-focused organizations that aim to bring financing to poor communities.

The employees will do remote and on-site consulting and management in a program designed to allow them to use their skills to have an impact on the communities.

The six-year-old Bankers Without Borders was created by the Grameen Foundation, a global nonprofit organization that provides financing for and information on health and agriculture to impoverished populations.
