What workers want: Good pay, steady work

Adequate compensation and peace of mind knowing that one’s job is secure head the list of factors that create job satisfaction, according to a new survey by the Society for Human Resource Management. SHRM’s most recent “Employee Job Satisfaction and Engagement” survey asked employees which aspects of work they rate “very important” to job satisfaction. Here are the top 15:
