Need an easy way to track your time (or that of your team members)? Whether you need to compile man-hour reports for clients or the accounting department, or are just curious to see what tasks occupied the most staff time, an easy time-tracking tool can come in handy. Toggl is a bare-bones tool, but that’s exactly what makes it so great. You simply type in the name of your project, task or client and then click the start button. This activates the timer, which keeps going until you stop it.

A great feature is the way Toggl lets you organize and review your records. You can see a day-to-day breakdown of what you did each day. And you can organize your data by project, client or other identifying feature, then display it as a chart or whatever format you like best. Toggl is available as a free app for iPad, iPhone or Android devices.
