TNS Employee Insights’ research reveals that only about half of employees would recommend their company. All employees are potential marketers, so here’s how to turn disengaged employees into brand ambassadors: 

Know where you stand 

Marketers use a metric called a net promoter score to gauge brand perception and word-of-mouth potential. To understand the collective net promoter score among your team, release a survey with one simple question: “How likely is it that you’d refer our company to someone?” Have them rate their potential referral on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being “I’d definitely recommend.” Employees who respond with a 9 or 10 are already loyal ambassadors.
