To help goose your sales before year-end, go back to some of these traditional—yet inexpensive and effective—tactics:
1. Up-sell and cross-sell
Small businesses often spend too much time focusing on winning new customers or clients rather than encouraging existing customers to spend more. Make sure a cross-sell and up-sell culture exists among your employees.
If a customer is interested in one product or service, tell them about a related product or a pricier one or an add-on.
