- Write it down. There’s something sticky—and almost magical— about committing your intentions to paper. So, set yourself a challenging goal and write it down. When you reach it, set another goal and write that down.
- Commit yourself to it publicly. Once people state their views or intentions, they’re extremely reluctant to change course. In fact, they’ll stubbornly refuse. We’re truest to our decisions if we bind ourselves to them in front of others.
