If your company receives lots of incoming mail, alert your employees to the common characteristics of a “suspicious” piece of mail.

Examples: no return address, sealed with tape, excessive postage, mailed from foreign country, poor handwriting, strange odor, etc.

The FBI, Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Postal Inspection Service have created a free poster to help train your employees to spot suspicious mail or packages. Download the four-color poster at www.usps.com/ postalinspectors or request a copy at your local post office.
