Do-good shopping

Imagine that every time you swiped a credit card, a few dollars went to the charity of your choice.

When you shop online through GoodShop (, a percentage of your purchase price goes straight to a charitable cause or school. Example: The ASPCA has earned more than $15,000, thanks to all the do-good shopping on GoodShop.

Among the most popular stores on the site: Amazon, 1-800-Flowers, Best Buy, Dell, HP, Office Depot, Overstock, Staples, Target and even Travelocity.

It’s so simple, it’s almost silly not to shop this way: First, visit GoodShop. Select the charity or school you want to support.

Then use the drop-down menu to select the store where you want to shop. A bridge page shows you what percentage of your purchase will be donated to your charity. Then, shop as usual ... except you’re also doing good.
