‘Razor-Free Fridays’ help cut water use

The Georgia Department of Agriculture is encouraging employees to skip their morning shaves on casual Fridays to help alleviate drought conditions gripping much of the state.

Commissioner of Agriculture Tommy Irvin says, “We’ve had casual Fridays as well as casual dress days to help employees deal with the heat; now we’re instituting a razor-free Friday to help with water conservation.”
