An Illinois woman who suffers from Holt-Oram syndrome, a condition where the sufferer’s arms and hands are underdeveloped, sued McDonald’s after employees refused to allow her to pick up her drive-through ordered food with her feet.

According to the complaint, both the window clerk and the store manager refused to hand her the food. No one offered to bring the food out. However, they had no problem taking her credit card when she gave it to them with her feet.

Final note: Train employees to be sensitive to the needs of disabled customers.
