Jiffy Lube managers win back pay in overtime case

Heartland Automotive Services agreed to settle a class-action lawsuit brought by 239 Jiffy Lube managers. They alleged the company denied them overtime, violating the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and state overtime laws.

The settlement resolves all federal lawsuits and calls for Heartland to pay up to $825,000 to the managers. Each manager will earn varying amounts, depending on length of service and how active they were in the litigation.
