Speak with more power

in Office Communication,Workplace Communication

Vocal emphasis is one of the most overlooked aspects of clear communication. If you want to sharpen your persuasive communication skills, make sure you end statements with a downward vocal inflection. This makes you sound more confident and signals to the listener that you’ve made your point. If your voice trails off at the end of sentences, you may find that the other person talks over you or interrupts. And while raising your voice is fine when asking a question, it makes you sound uncertain or unsure of yourself when you’re trying to sell yourself and your ideas.
