Hand deliver your résumé. When presenting your résumé to a potential employer, don’t just drop it in the mail or send it on line. Show up at the office and make a personal delivery, ideally in the early morning when the doors open. Although you may have to leave the envelope with a security guard or a secretary, you never know—a hiring manager may want to interview you on the spot.
