Here’s an easy way to maintain a superior level of contact with your clients on a regular basis. Each Friday morning, call an important customer, or a potentially important customer, and ask this:
“Have we earned the right to continue doing business with you?” You’ll be amazed at what you might hear—good or, more usefully, bad—and your most important clients will be amazed and delighted that you had enough guts to ask.
