When shopping for business insurance, don’t weigh only coverage and cost. Also check out the insurers’ claims-filing procedures.
Example: If you’re most concerned about losing your computers, learn the claim-filing procedures for theft or fire. Ask each insurer to show you all the paperwork you’d be required to fill out, and have the representative describe the steps involved in filing a claim.
