What effect does unfocused behavior have on those you lead?
According to the study’s 700 participants:
- A perception that leaders are unmotivated. Approximately 40% of all study respondents rated their leaders’ morale as “fair” or “not good.”
- A sense that the organization is not a good place to work. More than half of all respondents felt their organizations had developed serious employee-retention problems.
- A sense that the organization is not competitive. Forty percent of white-collar employees see their organizations as “middle-of-the pack” or “struggling” in their industries.
