Monster.com provided this link to free career assessment tools. Here are some worth checking out or offering to your staff.

Keirsey Temperament Sorter: This theory divides people into four quadrants called guardian, idealist, rational or artisan. It’s a long one at 71 questions.

My Plan.com: This tool helps identify what’s really important to you and what motivates you. Then it reveals a rank-ordered list of 739 jobs, based on how well they suit you. This would be especially beneficial for those re-entering the workforce.

Big Five: This assessment divides people by five traits—openness, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism—to identify learning style and work preferences. This might be a useful team exercise that will encourage people to discuss what they learned about themselves.
