Personal insecurity can rob you of, but it’s hard to recognize because it often hides in a blind spot.
Want to tell if insecurity is a problem for you? Ask yourself some tough questions:
1. Do you hold back in giving credit to others?
2. Do you keep information from your staff?
3. Do you try to insulate your staff from good leaders, fearing they will “steal” your people?
4. Are you threatened when others succeed?
5. Do you micromanage?
In the end, nothing will make you feel more insecure with others than feeling insecure with yourself.
