The 7 Minute Workout app provides easy-to-follow workout routines that can be done almost anywhere: your home, office or even in a hotel room. This app was designed by Chris Jordan, director of exercise physiology at the Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute. It is available for both Android and Apple devices.
The workout app focuses on a short, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) routine that is scientifically proven to aid weight loss and improve cardiovascular function. Each routine includes around 13 exercises done in about 7 minutes. Each movement also has a video of Chris Jordan teaching the proper technique. It’s like having your very own personal trainer teaching you.
One of the unique features of this app is the Smart Workout; it gauges your fitness and motivation level and recommends different workout programs along with intensity increases.
This free app has an extensive library of 72 exercises and 22 workouts with multiple intensity levels. Not only does the app track your workouts (days, number of cycles and effort), but you can also share a snapshot of your training with others for a little healthy competition.
