You already offer employees health care, dental care, vision care and retirement benefits. Well, so does everyone else. If you want your company to really shine, HR needs to get creative.

Reason: Those little perks will become fully taxable to employees and the company. And no one wants taxable.
Identity theft protection. Some pretty spectacular data breaches have made the news recently, including one at the IRS’ Get Transcript app. If you or yourhas been hacked, and employees’ personal identifying information may have been compromised, the IRS now says that you don’t have to include the value of identity protection services (e.g., credit reporting and monitoring services, identity theft insurance policies, identity restoration services or similar services) in their income or report that value on their W-2s.
