While meetings can often be the most productive way to discuss ideas, Blue Jeans Network released a study that found nearly 60% of people on audio-only conference calls check social media when they should be listening, and 6% admitted to dozing off.
Attentiv is a new meeting platform that will help you design an agenda, take notes and even offers anonymous communication for those who are too introverted to speak. These features help meetings to stay on topic and keep participants focused on what’s important, says Attentiv co-founder Daniel Russell. Attendees are required to remain engaged because they must respond to questions posted by the presenter, which hopefully will tackle the issue of people focusing on the wrong screens during meetings.
