Insert the default chart, on the same worksheet as the data you’ve selected, by using the Alt+F1 keystroke combo. You can always change the chart type later, if you like.

Clicking on those little filter arrows sometimes requires too much squinting. Navigate to the top of the column and use the Alt+¯ shortcut to access the dropdown list.

Close Excel by using the Alt+F4 shortcut. This works on virtually any Win­­dows program! If not, it’s possible your tech folks have reprogrammed the key.
