While technical know-how is imperative for entry-level positions, as employees move into leadership positions, they need to be able towith employees and co-workers.
Bloom’s advice to IT professionals: Stop using confusing jargon, “tech speak,” and acronyms with nontechnical co-workers. Most don’t want to know the ins and outs of how their technology works. They just want to know you fixed their problem.
