Manage your staff more effectively with these tips.

  1. Loosen the reins. Don’t micromanage. Create a plan with goals and deadlines. Check in regularly, but don’t overdo it. Show some faith in your employees.
  2. Avoid secrecy. Be as transparent as you can with employees. Secrecy undermines trust and creates barriers.
  3. Treat everyone equally. Don’t let relationships change how you treat certain employees. Not playing favorites allows employees to feel that they each have an equal shot at promotions and recognition.
