During a recent Q&A, actor Kevin Costner offered his rules for living.
√ Know yourself. He wasn’t a good student until he hit on acting. Then he started studying and “found my place. I wasn’t guessing anymore.”
√ Play tough. Make things look easy when they’re not. It’s good acting.
√ Keep trying. Just keep trying to stay on the right track, and if nothing tells you otherwise, keep going.
√ Honor your commitments. When you say you’re going to do something, follow through.
√ Play to win. “The guy who may be thinking about losing won’t take that shot,” Costner says. He’ll lose anyway. Take the shot.
