Twenty-eight percent of workers responding to a new CareerBuilder.com poll say they have felt bullied at work. For 19%, the abuse was so bad they quit their jobs because of it.

“One of the most surprising takeaways from the study was that bullying impacts workers of all backgrounds regardless of race, education, income and level of authority within an organization,” said Rosemary Haefner, vice president of HR at CareerBuilder.

Indeed, a breakdown of the poll findings shows that workplace bullying can affect almost anyone.
