When a group of Microsoft and Google devotees get together, you will hear a lot of “Oh yeah? Well…” Both providers have made recent strides to attract new customers. What’s best for you or your company? Here’s some information to consider.
Both of these popular cloud solutions are available for free. Someone once said, “If you’re not paying for a service, you are the product, not the customer.” You can certainly see this logic when you consider how Facebook and Google use our data to market to us, but what of cloud storage? Why is it free? Given that both providers do offer other services on a fee or subscription basis, perhaps they hope to win us at this free entry point, then market their fee-based services to an already engaged audience.
