Those lengthy disclaimers usually added to client communication from tax pros will be going the way of the five-and-dime store. The IRS has issued new regulations concerning disclaimers based on “covered opinions” under Circulation 230.

Now it says that this boilerplate language isn’t required anymore and tax practitioners should stop using it.
